Mix and match cute Christmas motifs inspired by typical Scandinavian patterns for a cosy pair of socks. Use the motifs as an accent stripe only or work them as an all-over pattern – the choice is all yours to create a truly unique pair of socks for yourself or as gift for your loved ones.

These socks are worked in the round from the cuff down with a short-row heel. Knitters can choose to work motif charts all over or to use selected motifs as accent stripes.

The motifs are of different height to make it easier to adjust the leg and foot length for socks with an all-over pattern.

The pattern is worked using the stranded knitting method. To accommodate the tighter fit of the parts in stranded knitting, these are worked on larger needles

Please note that that the colourwork motifs are charted only and there are no written instructions for the motifs provided.
