The design is based on simple, alternating stockinette sections, but is elevated far beyond any traditional beginner scarf with a segment of beautiful twisted eyelet stitches and a polished iCord edge. The pattern offers instructions for two yarn weights. The 4ply (fingering weight) version is knitted on bigger needles for a more open, lightweight fabric that is fabulous for spring and summer wear. The DK version is knitted on smaller needles for a denser, cosier fabric that is perfect for autumn. Whilst the scarf can be knit in a single colour, the small segments of the pattern make it ideal for stash busting your odds and ends from previous projects.
