Welcome to the 12 Days of Scarf-Mas 2014 scarf pattern!

Every day for 12 days (starting the 13th of December!), you will receive an update to the pattern giving you the next portion of this unique, original, and FUN to knit scarf! (Seriously. The designer SWEARS by all the needles on his Christmas tree!)

Need a last-minute Christmas gift for that certain someone who is difficult to make something for? Do you know anyone who wants a scarf for Christmas and the idea of knitting something long and lengthy terrifies your knitter’s mind? Are you just tired of knitting things for someone else and want something to give yourself on Christmas?

Well, look no further!

Scarfy Shenanigans will soon be yours if you would grab some yarn and needles, your sense of adventure, and sit down and knit on this fun, mysterious Christmas gift from me to all of you as a THANK YOU for being such AWESOME fans, supporters, friends, and my knitting family!

And for all of you who have been wondering what secret shenanigans have been going on here in the geoknittrix designs studio, well here’s a peek of it!

This scarf contains: Short rows, striping, bias knitting, icord edges, a BUNCH of texture elements, garter stitch, and above all, FUN!!!

Size: Somewhere between here and there, but with knitted awesomeness in between those two points!! (in layman’s terms… it’s a SURPRISE!!! :D)

Recommended yarn: Two colors of DK or Worsted weight yarn in semi-solid/tonal/solid colors. Sample used madelinetosh tosh DK in Graphite (A) and Maple Leaf (B)

Yardage: Color A: 420 yds/ 384 m; Color B: 220 yds/ 201 m

Needles: One set of 32” US size 9/5.5 mm circular needles

Gauge: 4 sts to the inch (4 sts to 2.54 cm) in garter stitch

Notions: Stitch markers, scissors, tapestry needle
