These simple cuff-down socks are the result of my looking for a worsted weight sock with some color to use up some yarn I inherited from my mom. I began to improvise, and as I went along I heard the voice of my mom’s mom in my head telling me not to worry so much about how it turns out-- just keep going and let those creative juices flow! So these socks are dedicated to the wonderful creative women in my life, who did anything they wanted because they weren’t afraid to try.

One skein of Cascade 220 should be enough (any worsted weight would be fine), and a few yards of the other colors will do for the contrast. I used 6 contrast colors, but you could use any number of colors from 1-6.
