Scealla-hat is a slouchy hat worked in the round from the brim up. The pattern has instructions for both normal brim as well as for sloped brim which is shaped with short rows.

Yarn

100 g of worsted weight yarn, app. 201 m (220 yds) per 100 g. The sample (size L) was knitted with Cascade Yarns Cascade 220 Heathers, (100% Wool, 201 m/ 220 yds per 100 g) in colourway 2442 Fog Hatt and used 85 g.

Needles & notions

3.75 mm/ US 5 and 4.5 mm/ US 7 (80 cm/ 32 inches or longer for magic loop) circular needle, or set of DPNs or size to obtain gauge
markers, tapestry needle for weaving in ends
