There are three size options available. This shawl is knit top down with an applied lace edging. The large needles give the fingering weight yarn a really nice drape which also uses a fair bit of yarn.
Because the edging is applied you can knit the edging in an accent colour, keep in mind the amount of yarn you are using for the body, as whatever the remainder yardage is when you have knit the body size you want will be the yardage required for the edging.
In the large size the edging uses a lot of yarn, more than you would suspect.
The gauge I have given is blocked. With shawls I don’t usually worry about gauge as long as I like the fabric it is making, but keep in mind you may need more or less yarn depending on your gauge.

Thank you,

Marsha
