Scrap Yarn Hoodie
Construction: Crochet Diamonds are created then slip-stitch joined into ‘quilt block’ like shapes. Those quilt blocks are then assembled into dolman sleeves, finished with a ribbed cuff. A front and back are then similarly assembled and finished, and a last a hood is added. FIrst you make the pieces, then you seam them together. Pattern Layout The pattern has detailed schemas for each step broken out based on which diamonds to add when. Different joining patterns exist for each size. The pattern is incredibly detailed so that there is no guesswork on how to achieve exactly the shape you want.
Yarn Recommendations This intended to be a scrap yarn /stash busting project. A yarn weight calculator is provided with the pattern to help you achieve the correct gauge with miscellaneous yarn. Two stranded DK yarns will achieve the correct gauge.
One Diamond Yarn Usage roughly 16M for one crochet diamond.
