Named after our 6th baby, the Scrappie “Suri” Sack is a fun way to use up scrap wool from other wool projects and to provide a great cozy for a baby you love! It’s wonderful as a wool cover for cloth diapered babies, but awesome, when knit with other soft worsted weight yarns, as a snuggly sleep sack for ANY baby!

This sweet cozy is designed to roll in the front but lay flat in the back for comfort at the back of the baby’s neck.

The pattern includes several textured knitting patterns to add fun elements to your scrappie sack!

Each row is neatly laid out along with check boxes to mark the rows you’ve knit! You can slip your pattern into a page protector and mark off the rows with a dry erase marker too!

Guage is: 4.5 - 5 stitches and 7 rows per inch.

Along with wool scraps (small balls of leftover wool or other worsted weight yarn of your choice!), you will need a 16” circular needle, a cable needle, a stitch marker, and a tapestry needle for weaving in ends!

Every baby needs a Scrappie Suri Sack! Beautiful and warm to cuddle that little wee one you love!!
