The Scrappy Granny Shawl is a perfect accessory for all of your bohemian fall outfits, and makes an incredible dancing and twirling companion as well! Best of all, this piece uses simple stitches and a basic, easy to memorize pattern that will be as fun and relaxing to make as it is to wear.

The pattern uses a simple granny blocks (sets of 3 double crochets) spaced out by lengths of chain 3’s to give it lots of openness and drape so that it is flattering instead of frumpy! The triangular pattern can be adjusted for larger or smaller shawls by adding more rows, depending on your size requirements. It’s also a superb scrap buster, easily using up spare balls of worsted weight yarns. The Scrappy Granny is also easy to make in different yarn weights, since the pattern is so adjustable.
