Scrappy Hair Ribbon
This is a super fun, simple, and stylish hair ribbon.
Make it with any yarn you like! Since it only uses about 60-80 yards depending on how long you make it, it is a perfect scrappy project to use up your scraps. Make tons of these, gift some, keep some, customize a few to your liking, or make it exactly to pattern with the same yarn and needles. This is YOUR project! This pattern is designed for any gauge, I just listed it there for reference.
Finished Measurements:
19 inches long, but you can make the ribbon however long you want it to be!
Yarn:
The yarn I used is Berroco Vintage DK, but again, make it with any yarn under bulky (chunky) weight.
Extras:
1 darning needle for weaving in ends, and of course, scissors!
The pattern gives you information on gauge and how to wear the ribbon.
Enjoy this free pattern from me to you!
Pattern Errata:
I have fixed this pattern error in the PDF, but please be aware of this for people who have already downloaded the pattern:
Cast on 6 sts.
Next row: kfb, knit to 1 stitch before end, kfb.
Next row: knit all sts.
Repeat these last two rows 3 more times. (14 sts)
In the pattern, the stitch count was 15 sts. You should actually end up with 14 sts.
Also, after decreasing, the stitch count will be 6 sts, and you have no need to decrease once on the fourth stitch.
I recommend downloading the pattern again to make sure that everything is correct in your ribbon.
Thank you for your patience!
