Scrappy Happiness: a playful stash-buster poncho/wrap!

The design of Scrappy Happiness blends colors together with the use of an easy-to-remember slip stitch pattern and a journey through a variety of colorways. This design is meant to show off an assortment of different yarns.

Five complimentary colors are suggested, but you may opt to use many more!

Total of 1,005 (1,145, 1430) yards / 919 (1046, 1307) meters required of DK weight yarn
OR Total of 2,010 (2,290, 1860) yards/ 1,837 (2,093, 1,307) meters required of fingering weight yarn to hold double.

Pattern Notes: You will begin by casting on with MC 1 (single strand of DK weight or two strands of fingering weight held dbl). On row 2 you will drop (but do not break) MC 1 and join CC1. Again, this can be a single strand of DK weight or two strands of fingering held dbl.

Each side is worked twice before turning your work. You will be creating a triangular shaped shawl that is seamed after binding off (secured with tassels) to create a wrap / poncho.
