This pattern is easily adaptable to different sizes, and complements a variety of types of yarn - it looks great as a solid colour, variegated/multi-coloured yarn, or using several colours in some random striping. If using your scrap bits, just make sure all the bits weigh up to the equivalent of one full skein.
