This pattern comes with the instructions to create your very own scraps granny square cardigan. I originally made this cardigan to use up a bunch of scrap yarn pieces I had lying around. Zero waste is something I’m passionate about and this cardigan is the perfect zero waste stash buster.

The cardigan is crocheted using basic crochet stitches and techniques. It is made by making granny squares then joining them together in cardigan formation, adding pockets and some scallop edging for detail. I have added details on what yarn I’ve used along with how to join different colours together.

This pattern is for beginner/intermediate crocheters. I have aimed to make this pattern as beginner friendly as possible by explaining each section in detail and including photos. Working in rounds and basic knowledge of crochet is a necessity to complete this pattern. You must know basic crochet stitches such as double crochet and know how to complete the ‘join as you go method’ when it comes to joining granny squares together.

I have included video links to help with some techniques used in this pattern and there are many helpful videos on YouTube on how to complete the necessary skills to complete this pattern
