When ever I finish a project I have these small pieces of yarn that I feel bad to just throw out, so I started to tie them together and wind them into a skein of yarn. At some point I CO and started to knit from this scrap yarn collection. That’s how the Scraptasctic Infinity Scarf began its journey. Whenever I had some leftover yarn I would add them to the scrap collection and knit a row or two. To unify the scarf I joined the CO edge with the BO edge with a 3needle BO and closed all the ends inside the scarf by attaching an I-cord along the entire edge of the scarf. It turned out to look pretty colorful. For the entire length of the scarf I have used 80 yards (74 meters) of the CC yarn. For this project I used Patons Divine Yarn in the Halo Blue colorway. It has been in my stash for some time and this Scraptastic Infinity Scarf looked like a good project to use it up.

The Scraptastic Infinity Scarf as finished is 5” (12.5 cm) wide and 100” (250 meters) long. But you can make it any length you wish to.
