CONSTRUCTION - These fingerless mitts are knit from the bottom up, beginning with a ribbed cable cast-on. Options are given for a plain cuff or a folded cuff. Increases are made for the thumb gusset, then the thumb stitches are put on hold while the rest of the mitt is knit. The top of the mitt is finished by creating a fold and reversing the rib stitch. Then the thumb stitches are completed.

TECHNIQUES TO TRY - Ribbed cable cast on, M1L and M1R’s both knitwise and purlwise.
