This blanket it knitted flat, using slip- stitch colourwork which only requires you to work one colour per row. When slipping a stitch, it should be slipped purlwise with the yarn held at the WS of the work. We recommend using a circular needle because you will be working a large number of stitches, which would not be easily accommodated on a standard straight needle.
