Knitted motifs inspired by woven fabrics are endlessly intriguing and mosaic knitting is a great way to explore them, since the simple stitchwork produces complex results as if by magic. Such is the case for this cozy shawl in three sizes (petite/medium/tall). Work in a two-tone palette for crisply-defined contrast or mix a solid with a gradient for more subtle, ever-changing effects. Deceptively easy to work using just one strand per row, this project is a great option for colorwork beginners and amusing fun for experienced knitters.

Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size, drape, and yardage requirement.
