Scribblers Lace is a sampler scarf with seven fun and quick-to-hook stitch patterns. You’ll need 175-200 yards of fingering weight yarn and a size G/4mm crochet hook to make it. It is crocheted end-to-end beginning with an increase section, five lace patterns, and a decrease section ending in a loop you can pull end through to style it. An almost I-cord like edging is applied around the outside edge of the scarf once completed. Blocking is recommended to open up the lace. A solid color yarn or one with a long color run will make the stitch patterns really pop. Finished size was 51” long x 5” wide and after blocking was 71” long x 5.75” wide. The 8 page pattern has written instructions and 3 pages of crochet charts.
