This cable lace scarf combines the best of both cables and lace. The two types of stitches work together forming a slight scallop both at the ends and on the sides of the scarf. It is made using sport weight yarn, but the turtleneck section will keep you warm on even the coldest of days.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a good working knowledge of both cables and lace knitting).

This pattern is both charted and written out line by line. There are also instructions for a crocheted edging.

The sample was expertly test knitted by Phyliss Lederman who can be contacted at: phylisgl@verizon.net, and is known on Ravelry as: “phyllisgl” and was knitted using Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sport Weight yarn in colorway, Outerdrive.
