SD Drop-Shoulder Sweater
This is an easy-to-memorize, easy-to-adapt pattern for 1/3-scale or “SD”-size dolls such as Maskcat 57cm dolls.
Because the body and sleeves are knitted at the same time, this pattern is unusually well-suited for color-changing yarn; the color changes on the sleeves will match the color changes on the body, and the shoulders will match each other. No need to cut and join yarn to force the stripes to match.
The pattern was made for a doll with a 23-24cm bust and 18cm waist, but the sleeves and body are basic rectangles and so they are easy to adjust if your doll needs a slightly larger or smaller size.
This sweater takes 19-27g of handspun lace-weight wool.
