A sweet skill-building exercise for the intermediate crocheter, this dishcloth uses the Tunisian Honeycomb Stitch for the “Sand,” and a combination of single crochet and bobbles for the “Sea.”

Difficulty Level: adventurous beginner

Size: approximately 8” square

Yarn: Cestari Sheep & Wool Company, 100% cotton, 3-ply DK weight. One skein of Shenandoah Blue, one skein of Cottonfield White. Two skeins will make several dishcloths. The dishcloth is knit in garter stitch.

Tunisian Crochet hook: we used size G. A Tunisian hook is longer than a traditional crochet hook.
