The Skellig Islands are two steep, rocky islands about 8 miles off the coast of Ireland. The boat ride through the mist to Skellig Michael inspired this scarf pattern.

When you get to the island, you climb hundreds of steps up to the remains of a sixth-century monastery.

This scarf captures the undulating sea, the mist on the water, and the winding path we climbed to get to the top of the rocky island.

The scarf is created in one piece. It is worked flat from one end to the other. The length is adjustable.
