IMPORTANT: The pattern is available on my blog for free, but if you’d rather read off a PDF or want to support me as a designer, a PDF version is also available, including a printer friendly version without pictures.
About the pattern
- It has written instructions (US terms), accompanied by photos and a full spreadsheet so you can see at a glance which color to use, which stitch to use and what the stitch count should be. Now isn’t that handy?
- The design uses a variety of V-stitches, which are described in the pattern. All these different stitches will give a nice gradient effect, which allows you to use and mix all the colors you like.
- The color changes are made in a way to keep the number of ends at a minimum, because nobody likes to sew in all those ends, right?
Yarn requirements
It uses Scheepjes Stone Washed and River Washed* in 11 different colors. See color codes below (RW = River Washed and SW = Stone Washed). You’ll need one ball off each:
Color A – RW 946
Color B – SW 807
Color C – SW 835
Color D – RW 942
Color E – RW 949
Color F – RW 941
Color G – RW 948
Color H – SW 824
Color I – RW 952
Color J – SW 815
Color K – SW 828
The pattern was tested in English. The Dutch version was not tested, so little typos may occur. Please contact me via email if you have found one, or if you need help with the pattern. aspoonfulofyarn@hotmail.com
