While working on this scarf, we heard of the passing of Neil Armstrong, the first human to set foot on the moon. The eyelet detail at each end of this scarf, which is staggered like little footsteps, reminded us of that amazing moment decades ago. Take your own steps, little or giant, in this tranquil sea of cashmere and silk.

This scarf alternates columns of k1, p1 ribbing with columns of garter stitch, with staggered eyelets at each end. It has a slip-stitch selvage on each edge. The ends of the scarf are a few inches wider, to provide a graceful flare.
