This yarn is quite special to me, as it was the first hand-spun yarn that I have ever purchased. It was more than 12 years ago, and that whole time I nurtured this beauty in my stash. Suddenly, an inspiration came to me and new shawl was born. It reminds me of both – warm summer evenings on the beach and frosty winter weather with dark blue sky. It is warm and thick and at the same time fluffy and cosy – ideal for summer evenings or chilly winter days.

Finished size:
240cm at the longest edge, 75cm deep on the widest point

Yarn:
Bulky weight handspun merino in dark blue and white colour – I highly recommend Malabrigo Rasta in Natural RAS063 – 2 skeins (150gr/90 yards) and Paris night RAS052 - 3 skeins (150gr/90 yards), which is perfect single ply yarn for this project.

You can use any yarn you like – just check your gauge and knit until you are satisfied with dimension.
