Kingdom Hearts 3 was recently released and if you’re like me, who has been a fan of the series since the beginning then you know that we’ve been waiting for 13 years for this day! THIRTEEN YEARS! Honestly, I didn’t think I would be alive to witness this day! For those who don’t know what Kingdom Hearts is, it’s a game by Square Enix that features various Disney Characters.

I knew I wanted to crochet something in honor of the release for Kingdom Hearts but wasn’t sure what. The first thing that came to my mind was the star-shaped Paopu fruit that was in the first game but after doing some research I saw that there were multiple crochet patterns already so I scrapped that idea. The next idea that came to mind was the sea salt ice cream that was featured in Kingdom Hearts 2. I couldn’t find any patterns for this so I crocheted a sea salt ice cream with a Mickey Mouse shaped chain around the popsicle because I wanted to add something Disney-related and what better than something with Mickey, right? haha
