This pattern is a fun crochet project to make. I used a cake of fingering weight cotton gradient yarn by Dreamers Yarn which is very lightweight and is suitable for summer projects.

Though I recommend using fingering weight cotton, this shawl can be made with any yarn weight/fabric you want. With this being said, the gauges for this pattern is not too important. You can use a crochet hook that is suggested in the yarn label of your chosen yarn. You can also go down a hook size if you prefer holes of your shawl to be smaller. Also, the size of your shawl is all up to you - the bigger it gets, the more amount of yards are needed!

Happy crocheting!
