Sea Star is worked bottom up. Stretchy one by one stockinette forms the band, sea grass stitch adds texture to the body and a delicate five pointed star is formed by the crown decreases.

Materials
• Yarn – 200 yards worsted weight (Or 400 yards fingering weight held double)
• Needles – One set of US 8/5.0 mm double pointed needles
• Darning needle
• Row counter (optional)

Finished Measurements
Adult S M, L. Circumference: 20 22, 24 inches. Length: 8.5 (9, 9.5) inches

Gauge
To maintain radial symmetry, the different sizes are created by changing the gauge instead of the stitch count
• Small: 20 sts/27 rows = 4x4” in stockinette stitch
• Medium: 18 sts/24 rows = 4x4” in stockinette stitch
• Large: 16 sts/21 rows = 4x4” in stockinette stitch
