Drape yourself in elegance with the Sea Star Shawl, a cluster of star-shaped motifs reminiscent of starfish meeting in a tidepool, perfect for adding a splash of glamour and color to any outfit. This modular crochet design grows seamlessly as each star is connected to the previous motifs for minimal finishing, and the Faroese-style truncated V shape sits nicely on the shoulders.

Designed as part of The Sun and Fog Winter 2021 Collection, a group of nine patterns from Bay Area designers using yarn from Bay Area dyers and yarn shops. This winter collection is meant to inspire makers to create a little something special for themselves after the holiday rush or at any time. Each design in the collection has a size which uses 100 grams of yarn or less, and was beautifully photographed by Ksenia Naidyon.
