I made C-waves crochet shawl during the pandemic lockdown. The C shapes in the pattern remind me of two things. One is the reason for this lockdown, Covid19. While working my shawl, I wonder how people and their families navigate the pandemic. Second, it reminds me of the ocean waves. I came from the tropics and moved to the midwest. The imagination of the sight and sound of ocean waves are very relaxing to me.

Since I am a mother of a child with special needs, my heart also goes to families who travel the same path I do. I belong there. And please know, that if you buy this pattern, profit will go to my church who takes care of some families who go through struggles. And I appreciate you.

This pattern calls for fingering or sport weight yarn. My suggested yarn is available in Amazon. If you have the basic skill of double crochet, single crochet and know how to chain, this project will be easy for you. Only be mindful of your tension.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to write me a message.

Thank you so very much!!
