Seafoam Shawl
This shawl was inspired by patterns and colours in nature, particularly the rolling waves of my beachside hometown and my childhood holiday favourite of Cornwall. I created it with another trip to Cornwall in mind this summer, thinking of the need to wrap something round my shoulders on a chilly evening on the beach, and this lightweight but snuggly item will definitely do the trick!
The pattern features twisted stitches to create a textured look reminiscent of breaking waves.
Gauge is not important for this pattern, and although designed for a lightweight ombre yarn, it could be completed in any colour or yarn weight to suit your preference, with minor adaptations to create a garment of the size you desire.
