A soft drapey shawl with a slightly ruffled edge. This is a good pattern for a “first shawl” project, or to learn the YO/k2tog technique, to make a simple lace pattern.

The size of the finished shawl can be adjusted depending upon the yarn you use, a heavier yarn will make a larger shawl.

Gauge is not important for this project, though you want a consistent fabric.
