With a textured stitch pattern reminiscent of oceanic coves, Sealers Cove pays homage to one of my favourite sections of Wilsons Promontory.

Knit in DK/8ply yarn, with a folded double-brim to keep ears warm against the wind.

Shown here in a gorgeous gradient yarn from By Briony (formerly GradientAU), the pattern works beautifully with solid, semi-solids or speckles.

Pompom: optional (but who could resist?)

Two sizes, with a generous circumference range designed to fit heads between 50cm - 64cm . This beanie is unisex, and curls-friendly!

Pattern includes written and charted directions for the Cove stitch pattern.

Techniques used
The Alternate Cable cast-on is a lovely, stretchy cast-on method particularly suited to 1x1 rib. Instructions are not included for this technique, however there are excellent tutorials and videos available free online to assist if you are not familiar.
