Choosing the right YARN and HOOK to achieve great results

Yarn in photos: Filati Fantasia Linsilk (59 % linen, 35 % rayon, 6 % silk); DK / 8 ply / 290 m in 100 gr / 317 yards in 3.5 oz. Substitute yarn: loosely woven linen or cotton with addition of rayon (or silk, bamboo, tencel, soya). For example: Fortuna, Bella Lino, Firefly, Ambre. Note that all mentioned yarns have the length of 284-300 m (310-328 yards) per 100 gr, but some producers label them as DK-weight, some as Sport-weight and some as Fingering-weight, therefore please check the yardage in each 100 gr-ball (if your yarn is in 50-gr balls add the length of two 50-gr balls).
