“The Seascape Socks was inspired by a sweater I designed a few years ago; Seascape Pullover. The Seascape Socks share all the same details I love about the sweater. The cuffs are knit in a twisted rib cable pattern with colorwork throughout the entire sock all to mimic a whale’s tail!” - Andrea

There is two heel technique available in this pattern, one is suggested for the women’s version (afterthought heel) and the second one for the men’s version (heel flap).

In addition to the pattern, you will need the following materials to knit Seascape socks:

Louise Robert Collection –Super Sock (75% Merino Superwash and 25% Nylon, 100 g, 400 m / 438 yds)
Women’s version : MC – Maya: 100g & CC – Impératrice: 50g.
Men’s Version : MC - Traviata: 100g & CC – Gauguin: 50g.
4 double-pointed needles (or long circular needles for knitting magic loop) in size 2.5mm (US #1.5).

Tapestry needle
Stitch markers
Waste yarn

SIZE – ONE SIZE : Length of foot: adjustable.

GAUGE : 36sts = 10 cm – 4 inches in Stockinette Stitch

NOTE : The Seascape Socks are knit from the top down with a twisted rib cable pattern that is just on the front of the cuff and an allover Stranded Colorwork pattern.
