The design of this garter stitch seashell cowl is meant to evoke memory of warm days on shell-covered beaches and bring warmth to cold-weather days. It is composed of 7, 19-stitch shell, 12-row motifs. It is written to be knitted flat and seamed. The scallops along the top and bottom edges occur naturally. More shell motifs can be added for a taller or longer cowl. This was designed to use all of single skein of yarn with little to spare.
