This is a super simple and lightweight pair of fingerless mitts, designed especially for cold autumnal mornings here in Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington), Aotearoa.

Perfect for when you want to keep your hands cosy but fingers free for knitting or reading on the bus to work!

The understated lace pattern adds interest and evokes the waves and shells around the edges of our coastal city.

This pattern is written for the Magic Loop method but would be easy enough to convert to DPNs (or a short circular) if you prefer.

I hope you’ll enjoy knitting a pair of these simple fingerless mitts for yourself and your best mate.

Please note: this pattern hasn’t been tested. Please let me know if you find any mistakes or information missing. Thank you!
