The Cowlor Wheel collection is perfect for last minute gifts. All of the patterns in this collection are worked using BULKY yarn, so you can knit them at top speed. Don’t have BULKY in your stash, try holding 2 or 3 strands of a lighter weight yarn together.

The Secondary Cowl is the second pattern in the Cowlor Wheel collection. Secondary colors are created by mixing two primary colors together. Like a secondary color, this cowl is a mix of two powerful components: cables and garter stitch. The Secondary cowl is knit flat, and begins with a provisional cast on. A mega-cable runs across the center of the cowl, giving this knit BIG drama and squish. You complete the cowl by grafting the two ends. Tuck the garter edges in for a snuggly look, or pull the cowl up over your face for extra warmth. This cowl is completely reversible, so you can’t put it on inside out. Knit in BULKY yarn, this pattern is an excellent knit for last minute gifts.
