This wrap is worked in what is often referred to as a Flame Stitch to shape the petals. It requires the knowledge of an intermediate knitter, and includes one special stitch for decreases.

S2KPO: Slip two stitches together knit-wise, knit third stitch, then pass the two slipped stitches
over the knit stitch (reducing three stitches to one).
