The Sedona Sunrise bag is a simple, summery, cross-body bag. I tried to keep it simple and used the moss stitch to let the self-striping yarn speak for itself. The pattern can be easily modified to personalize the bag and make it exactly what you’re looking for.

I used less than 1 skein of I Love This Yarn! in Clay Prairie for the body of the bag and a tiny bit of I Love This Yarn! in Light Taupe for the edging and strap. You can easily use other yarns, but the look won’t be the same. I used a size I (5.5mm) crochet hook, but you can change the hook size to get the look you want, since gauge isn’t crucial for this project, but it will change the size of the bag. I’d also recommend using a tapestry needle for weaving in ends and attaching the cactus appliqué.

The cactus appliqué is made from another free pattern found on my site (it’s linked to in the pattern so you can find it easily).
