No worries about gauge, this is a REALLY simple pattern perfect for “mindless knitting” (i.e. Netflix, audiobooks, and knit night).

These are very simple instructions since I just winged it, based on my desire to create something with this very gorgeous variegated yarn I got at a huge discount.

The seed and linen stitches make for a nice flat fabric that won’t curl and is nice and dense, and all the slip-stitching helps spread the colors out a bit (though I am still getting quite a bit of color pooling with this one).

You can pretty much do this with any yarn size and appropriate needle. This was aran weight yarn and I chose a US10 needle to go with it because I liked the fabric results, and it moves quickly.
