This pattern can be created with any weight yarn you please, just ensure you have the correct size hook for the yarn. A larger hook will create a larger appliqué.

For the example shown I have used a 3mm hook and sport weight mercerized cotton. This example measures around 3 inches across.

This pattern creates a beautiful patch for clothing or bags.
