Overview & Tips
I created this pattern to create a quick bulky weight cowl as a gift. It was actually my first finished object after learning to knit and was so rewarding to bind off and gift! I hope you can use your creativity to modify and riff just like I did as I was knitting this.

This pattern would be very easy to modify to any finished size or gauge. To modify just add or subtract a multiple of 8 stitches to cast on amount. Just make sure to stay in a stitch count with a multiple of 8 when knitting the chevron section!

You’ll notice that the two border patterns have an odd stitch count (129, 127), this may seem strange but helps the seed stitch pattern flow into and out of the chevron pattern.

Caution: The yarn that I used is very light in relation to its length. Yarn estimation is based on actuals from my project and does not include yarn used for the gauge swatch. Also, I am a tight knitter so you will likely need to size down on your needles to meet gauge.
