My Hebridean island is not lush. It is beautiful, wind swept and at times harsh. However, look more closely and you find special nooks of flora. Down the sides of streams, on steep rocky outcrops and fresh-water islands… Mostly where our sheep cannot quite reach, and amongst these fertile spots are often ferns.

This wrap reflects the shapes and forms of ferns with the peppercorn bobbles echoing the seeds you find on the underside of the leaves. For me, there is something special about a fern, the way it unfurls seems to speak of hope, life, and new beginnings.
