This pattern is no longer available from Patternworks. Instead see my Fill In The Blank Socks pattern, which includes the same pattern, but with a slip-stitch heel instead of an afterthought heel.

This toe-up sock pattern with afterthought heel is written for fingering-weight yarn, but can also be used with sport-weight sock yarns to knit the medium or large size. A very stretchy ribbing stitch, seeded rib looks great in both patterned and solid-color yarns.

Sizes: Approx. 8 1/2 (9 1/2, 10 1/2)“ circumference, fully stretched
Yarn: Fingering or sport weight sock yarn 100 grams
(Shown in ONline Supersocke; color shown is no longer available.)
Needles: #0 to #1 dps or long circular for fingering weight; #1 to #2 dps or long circular for sport weight.
