Here’s a cute hat with just enough brim to keep the sun out of your eyes! Constructed in the round, this hat starts with the inside of the brim, then after an easy picot turn row, moves on to the outside of the brim. The two brim layers are then joined by being knit together (no seaming!), and then the band and crown are worked. This pattern is really cute in our Watermelon colors, and the pattern is written for a full range of 4 sizes so that it will fit kids of all ages. Directions are provided in text format.

Sock-aholic® Brewski is dyed by hand at our brewery using a wonderfully soft 4-ply Luxury Worsted Yarn made from 100% Fine Merino Superwash. This yarn knits at a gauge of 5-6 stitches per inch using size 5-7 needles. This yarn is soft as a cloud, yet durable enough to make fabulous garments that you’ll want to wear right next to your skin.

This yarn may be machine washed in cool water using a gentle cycle and mild detergent. Roll in a towel to remove excess water (do not twist or wring), and lay flat to dry away from direct sunlight.
