It’s autumn in New Zealand and seeds and leaves are all over the ground, which made me think of making a hat inspired by this patterned landscape. The dusty autumn colours inspired the autumnal tones, and softness of yarn. And the desire to wrap up snuggly as the weather changes, made me choose a yarn that is soft and warm.
This pattern combines knit and purl stitches to establish the pattern.
