Seelbach is my absolute favorite kind of design. It features one of my go-to yarns, and is worked in addictive cables - plus, this easy to wear pullover style has become one of my most-worn sweater silhouettes.

I love the flowy, gentle lines in here and the distinct edges each panel creates. The texture is unique, but the cables themselves are easily memorized and much simpler than they appear. Sleeves are worked in stockinette, keeping all the attention on the body. Along each edge of the front and back, side stitches and rib detail make for beautiful shoulders and also create an easy spot for adjusting width if needed.

If you are heading out to Stitches West, my Seelbach sample will be in the YOTH booth -- along with lots of Father in tons of colors!

Seelbach is knit from the bottom up in 2 pieces (front and back). Once the two pieces are seamed together at sides and shoulders, sleeve stitches are picked up and worked to cuff in the round. Then the collar stitches are also picked up and worked in the round to finish the sweater.

Sample shown in Portabella. On both my Mom and my Sis!!

Sizes and Yardage per size is listed below:

Sizes:
35.5(39.5,43.5,47.5)(50.75,55.5,59)“/ 90.25 (100.5, 110.75,119.75)(128.75,141,150)cm, based on finished circumference around body. Sweater is shown worn with 6”/15.25 of ease, based on bust. I suggest choosing the size that allows for 5-7”/12.75-17.75cm of positive ease for fit as shown.

Yardage by size
1000(1100,1250,1400)(1550,1700,1800)yds/ 915(1005,1145,1280)(1420,1555,1645)m needed. Note that yardage may vary with modifications to sizing or with substitute yarns. See test knits if you want to compare their estimates with yours.
