Advanced beginner pattern
The scarf can be made in either an asymmetric or symmetric styles.
The blocked length of the scarf in the photos is 50” with an approximate 8” width at the widest part. Blocking to the desired dimensions is important. You can easily add more rows and therefore more length to the scarf.
Using a heather, marled, or luminescent color yarn gives the simple garter stitch a purl like effect. Flat colors do not enhance the garter stitch.
