Semaphore
The Semaphore Socks are a fun and modern sock knitting pattern featuring a unique knit-and-purl motif reminiscent of signal flags. Worked from the top down with the Magic Loop method, these socks showcase the clever Fleegle Heel—a no-pickup, gusset-style heel construction that’s smooth and seamless. Designed using Ewe Ewe Yarns Fluffy Fingering in the vibrant Saffron color, this pattern offers a crisp texture and bold stitch definition.
Sized to fit five foot widths—6.5 (7.25, 8, 8.5, 9.25)” / 17 (18.5, 20.5, 22, 23.5) cm circumference—these socks are fully customizable in foot length and identical in construction for both feet. The toes are finished with grafting for a professional, seamless look.
Whether you’re an adventurous beginner or a seasoned sock knitter looking for something fresh, the Semaphore Socks pattern is a satisfying project with striking results.
